How We’re Making a Difference
For the past three spring breaks, I’ve traveled to Honduras and brought donated uniforms, cleats and One World Futbols with me to share with the communities I visit.
This year, I’m running a campaign with One World Play Project to raise ultra-durable One World Futbols, soccer balls that never need a pump and never go flat, for elementary schools and youth club teams in rural Honduran villages.
These communities have no access to new soccer balls and play on dirt fields where standard soccer balls are easily destroyed. Having returned to Honduras every year for the past three years, I have seen that the One World Futbols I donated previously are still in use.
These balls allow the children to play the game they love daily — while encouraging them to go to school, where they can not only play but also get an education. For them, playing soccer and getting an education is a way to escape the poverty in which they live.
Help me make a difference, and support my campaign today!
Through this campaign, I raised 10 One World Futbols.
