Gifting indigenous communities in Panama with soccer balls

Youth donate soccer balls in Panama with Peace Boat, a youth exchange program
by Talia Bank, Youth Representative and Peace Boat US Intern

On a recent trip to Latin America, a group of 17 youth with Peace Boat US, an international nonprofit organization and youth exchange program, took part in the distribution of ultra-durable One World Futbols. The donation took place during an exchange with youth in Panama and is part of the ongoing Peace Ball Project.

Check out the photo slideshow below to learn more about the Peace Ball Project and see highlights from the donation of One World Futbols and soccer games with RET International and the Embera indigenous community.

Peace Boat is running a campaign to raise One World Futbols for organizations like RET and the Embera indigenous community in countries around the world. Donate soccer balls to the campaign—and future youth exchanges—today.
