Refugee Communities - Play Together

Give Play Resources to Refugee Communities

Play is a basic human need. Research has shown that play is critical for healthy physical, social and psychological development, especially for youth living in challenging environments. For refugee youth and adults living in exile, play builds community, aids in recovery from trauma, creates joy and helps keep hope and optimism alive.

One World Play Project believes all children should have access to play—no matter who they are, where they come from or where they live.

Our Play Together campaign is raising awareness and ball donations for organizations using sport and play to work with refugee youth and adults around the world. Every $100 donation we receive enables us to bring play opportunities to more than 100 kids living in refugee camps or communities worldwide. Your tax-deductible donation, large or small, will help refugee youth begin to rebuild their lives through play.
