Empowering Girls Worldwide

All Girls Can Play

In 2014, prior to the Women’s World Cup, One World Play Project launched the All Girls Can Play campaign to raise awareness about the challenges girls are facing worldwide—and to combat those challenges through the power of play.

All Girls Can Play provided an ideal platform for brands to take a leadership role in the conversation around female empowerment and gender equality. The campaign featured a comprehensive marketing program and raised donations of One World Futbols for organizations (BAWSI and Women Win) using play and sport to empower girls living in disadvantaged communities.

Through All Girls Can Play, sponsors were able to help bring play to more than 25,000 girls in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas through more than 900 One World Futbols.

All Girls Can Play sponsors included: SELF Magazine, HansonBridgett LLP, New Level Group, Movement and Recreation SF.

“When girls can be on a playing field, they are more likely to raise their voice in the classroom, walk confidently into the boardroom and step up as leaders in society.
